Hank the Cat Places 3rd In Virginia Senate Race

(Source:  http://blog.constitutioncenter.org/2012/11/cat-appears-to-come-in-third-in-virginia%E2%80%99s-u-s-senate-race/)

Hank got 6,000 votes.  "A Maine Coon who ran on pro-feline, job creation platform."  If I had been a resident of Virginia and undecided about which candidate to vote for, I'd vote for Hank.  That was my dilemna for the 2012 Presidential race as well.  I was very undecided about which candidate to vote for - Obama or Romney?  In the end, I believe I made the right decision.  Granted, no cat was on the ballot.

Although, if memory serves correctly, I do think a cat can.  The United States require that the candidate be at least 35 years old, be of native born citizen of the U.S., a permanent U.S. resident, never been impeached, never held two consecutive terms as President, and having sworn allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, never revolted against the United States.

There's no law stating that the candidate for presidency has to be human!

So, you native born kitties out there over the age of 35 and having duly sworn in to support the U.S. Constitution,....you can run for President of the United States!

Will Hank run for President in 2016?
